Default 9mm Carbine - Best Bang for the Buck

Looking for a 9mm Carbine - what is the best bang for the buck? AR-15, H&K 94 (or clone), Uzi (or clone)?

get one that takes mags for a gun you laready have, like the GLOCK 33 round mags.

they are light, cheap, and run

Jack Lewis thought the world of the Kel-Tec, and thats coming from Jack.

The Nice thing about the KelTec you can just fold it up and drop it in your Backpack if you go camping or hiking etc.

I have a Pre-ban Feather, that is simply awesome i can never get it to jam or to miss.

There are also things like the Suomi that's out:

    Or else the Sterling carbines:

I'm unsure of the reliability of the Suomi's but most of the bugs seem to have been gotten out of the Sterlings.

    I second that.

They are not pretty, but they are light, cheap, accurate, multi-purpose, and the funnest gun I've ever owned. Recoil is nearly non-existent

I had one in 9mm, and got rid of it as I was consolidating calibers and needed cash at the time. I plan on picking one up in .40 within the next month or so.

Plus I now have another 9mm, and wish I hadn't sold it

I happen to like the Beretta Cx4. I'll probably buy one eventually because of the quality, but also for the caliber and magazine compatibility with my Beretta Px4 pistol.

At around $700, however, it's a whole lot more bucks for a similar amount of bang.

I'm actually surprised that we haven't seen more entries into the pistol caliber carbine market. A couple years go I thought that it was poised to explode. Maybe 9mm AR conversions stole the show? Not sure.

Ruger PC9. It takes the p-series magazines, so you can use the same magazine in both the carbine and pistol. P-series magazines are plentiful. Ruger doesn't make these anymore, but used ones are around. Very rugged and a ton of fun to shoot.
