    Default documentary: Fully Automatic America

I saw this posted on another forum, don't know if it's ever been posted here. I'm watching it now and it looks to be well made, not sure yet if it has a particular slant. Features Knobb Creek and Camden NJ.

    I saw it on Hulu:

There is a clear slant to the program to ward the anti gun side of reasoning. The director may have thought it was balanced by doing half of the show at a full auto shoot and the other half running around with law enforcement in Camden. However, there was almost no representation of the pro-gun pro-carry majority here in America.

My favorite statement was by Kaj Larsen at the full auto shoot. (Paraphrased) The .50 cal is so powerful it does not have to hit you to kill you, the "shockwave" can take your head off.... Seriously, is this journalism? Sigh. People will watch this and believe it as fact.

Yeah, that statement made me cringe a little. I just got through the Knobb Creek segment and I loved seeing all the artillery. The presenter (Kaj) seems like a gun enthusiast. Just getting to the Camden part now...

That pissed me off, and also he states that the .50 cal is illegal to use against people in warfare, actually only the .50 cal MK 211 Raufoss round is not sanctioned for use to use against human targets by the manufacterer due to it's incendiary and explosive effects. The current U.S. policy is that the ammunition is suitable for use against all targets. He makes it sound like and .50 cal ammo isn't allowed against human targets, obviously trying to imply because it's so powerful it's illegal to use in warfare or something.

The myth of this round cannot be used on people is bullshit. Here is a video of the 30mm chain gun on an Apache turning people into hamburger...

    Here is another:

For a conversion, 30mm is 1.18 caliber or 118 caliber...

Just finished watching the whole thing.
Started out good at Knobb Creek but... meh. Too bad.

Are there any good documentaries floating around out there?
    Any recommendations?

    I am glad you asked....

This is not a documentary, but it covers the subject:
