Agreed, kind of high just to save a 1/2 pound or little more.

They went with a lined carbon fiber barrel instead of a carbon fiber lower and upper like Bushmaster, and they want a $2000+ premium for it?

And whats up with the barrel drop in on your existing AR for $1200?

So, what they are saying is 1200 for the barrel, and 1800 for what pretty much appears to be off the shelf lower components is where they are at in their pricing.

if i were to spend 3K on an AR15 i would ratherr spend 2K and get a POF or get a FN SCAR for 2500. interesting concept with the CF parts but not worth 3 grand in my opinion especially when you have much better alternatives for less money. for 3 grand you could buy the new AUG plus a lot of ammo, 2 colt 6940's plus ammo, 3 colt 6920's, 2 sig 556 rifles and 4 or 5 AK's. so why pay 3 grand for one AR15
