Remington 870 Express Question

Just purchased a Remington 870 Express today, 28" barrel, 12 gauge. The barrel is marked 2-3/4 and 3" shells. From what little I was able to gather on the Remington factory site, need to find out if this shotgun will handle 3" Magnum loads. According to Remington's site, the 870 Express and the 870 Express Super Magnum are the only two receivers offered. I know the Super Magnum will handle 2-3/4, 3, and 3-1/2" shells, and of course magnum shells. Just want to see if I can use my turkey loads safely in this shotgun (3" magnum loads).

Check the serial number, if it has a "M" on the end it's a magnum receiver.

Thanks for the help guys, I appreciate it. Called Remington today, they said the new Express models (with 3" chambers) will shoot 3" Magnum shells with no problems.
