Had a good experience at the Lancaster Co. Courthouse today

Sheriff Deputies were very professional and cordial with escorting me to the lockers to store my gun. First time at the Lancaster Co. Courthouse today and I had no issues at all when I entered or exited with my gun. Kudos to the Lancaster Sheriff Office

Thanks for posting. We're lucky to have a sheriffs department like that. In fact I believe most of the people that work in the courthouse are OK too. When my Mother went in for jury duty they went out of their way to help her. I just wished the mayors office was better staffed particularly the mayor.

Great post, and good news. Sounds fairly consistent with other news coming from Lancaster County. Now if we can just do something about your mayor!

I've visited the courthouse bldg in York almost a dozen times this year, and each time the security checkpoint has been handled professionally.

We also need to do something about our mayor, but we just failed and now it's going to be another 4 years.

It's pleasant when a LEO respects you while carrying a gun. A lot of LEOs don't like the fact that civilians can carry a gun and they can rub off their personal hatred on you with rudeness and disrespect. Here today they honored my 2A
