.45LC Ammo............

Is anyone going to start making this stuff any time soon? Or does anyone have about 250 empty shells I can buy? I can get my shells reloaded, but they won't do them unless I have 500 shells minimum. I can't figure this out. With all the competition shoots, you would think that there would be more .45LC's out there, but I can't find any. Even ammo web sites are showing an out of stock amount.

my desire to run 45 colt, is what drove me to reloading.
there is no way to shot it on the cheap, without rolling your own, or having deep connections.

I have one of these just for 45LC. ...but I load 44mag/spl with it too since all 3 use the same shell plate.

My father is in Tombstone and was at a gunshop looking to buy a Uberti 45 LC. I was on the phone with the shop owner asking questions about it. Then when it came to the availability of the ammo there, he said "I got plenty!" From $22 a box! depends on what I wanted to shoot!

I told him it was like hen's teeth up here!

IMHO it is a great cartridge that can do just about anything a .44 Mag can do if handloaded and fired in a modern handgun. Been hunting with them and shooting them and the .44 Specials hot loaded since the '50s.

Handloading is the only way I have 45 colt ammo.



For store prices youd think it was Anti-Tank ammo.

I will try to get the info for you the next time I talk to my parents... They are travelling the country and are in Quartzite something or other right now. I can't get ahold of them for the next few days.

I just can't believe that no one is making the stuff. I keep getting the same damned story every time I go to my local gun shop. ("We should have some in 2 weeks", "We should have some in 2 weeks.")
