    Default Turkey Day range session

I had some time yesterday morning, so I went to the range with my M1A and decided to throw my hat into an AR15 vs Mini14 competition over on THR, despite me not having a rifle that qualifies for the prize.

The competition specifies two targets at 100 yards, one five-shot group on each target, fired back to back in under 3 minutes. I took about 30 seconds to shoot both groups.

According to OnTarget, the average group size of the two is 3.092", or about 3MOA, which is about the best I could hope for with the milsurp ammo I was using. Shot prone, with my M1A Standard, in the wet leaves and grass.

Yes, the patch of leafless grass in front of the rifle was cleared by muzzle blast.
Any mission, any conditions, any foe at any range.
Twice the mayhem, triple the force.
Ten times the action, total hardcore.

Great shooting, beautiful rifle, the moved leaves from recoil is priceless
