Hmmm... I missed the first question.

1: Crime victims often use personal firearms in self-defense.

The wording is deceptive. "Often", to me, means more likely to happen than not. My assumption was that most victims of crime are not armed. I think the statistics will bear that out.

I made the same mistake. I thought it was going to be a trick question. I went with thinking that armed citizens were less likely to become "victims."

You're right . . . That first question is a ringer. A "victim" to me is somebody who is not armed. And . . . if that person was armed and remained a victim of violent crime, then it's most likely that they are instead a corpse.

Got them all but # 3 above. I say it's Switzerland, or it used to be. Been there and you would not belive it, almost every town has a range, and it's Govt. sponsored. Guess that's why no one screws with them.

The population of Switzerland is 7.8 mil.
The population of The USA is 308 mil.
As I recall it, the question did not specify per capita, so I believe that would explain it.
