The method of operation is to private message you and tell you that you should contact such 'n such person at a given email address.

Please report the private messages. Staff will ban the offender, and I will implement an IP ban. Unfortunately these scammers are using VPN/proxy services, which may mean your VPN/proxy may be blocked.
Attention! About VPN's and foreign IP addresses.

When signing up, do so from a US based Internet Service Provider. Turn off any VPN/safe-browsing feature. Failure to do so will result with your new account denied.

If you run into a IP ban afterwards as a member, again - turn off your VPN or switch servers. We do not ban legit Internet Service Providers from the USA(exception for certain individual IP addresses). Free VPN's tend to get banned too. We try not to ban legit subscription VPN services, but they rarely label their IP blocks correctly.

If you run into an IP ban, it likely wasn't you.

8" Dobsonian Telescope
I have an Orion Skyquest XT8 that sits in my bedroom corner, and I'd like it to end up with someone who will actually use it! This is a 8" Dobsonian Reflector telescope. Amazing views. I have moved into an apartment complex and there is way too much light pollution. My loss is your gain! Scope is in good shape, a some scratches and normal wear and tear on the exterior but the optics are very good and it works well. I can also include a Sirius 25mm eyepiece if needed. Looking to get $250 obo, I am in Bethlehem PA 18015, will consider driving up to 50 miles to make a deal.
