    Default It's big, it's blue, it's a 29-2

Got bit by the S&W revolver bug again - recent acquisition from forum member smoke-wagon, a very nice 1980-vintage S&W Model 29-2, with the 8 and 3/8 inch pinned barrel, recessed cylinder, target hammer and wide target trigger. The trigger on this is smooth as silk - breaks clean and crisp in single action at what feels like less than a pound of pull, and is very slick in double action. I broke my collarbone about a month ago so haven't shot it yet, but can't wait to get it on the range. She was wearing Hogue monogrips but I got her a new pair of shoes -- a nice set of checkered target grips. Range report will follow once I'm able to use both hands again.
