Handed in my Monroe county LTCF application
Yesterday I handed in my LTCF application +1 day of my 21st birthday. I asked the lady who took my picture what the current wait time was and she stated 45 days. So looks like the long painful wait is on.

Re: Handed in my Monroe county LTCF application
Yep Monroe takes the full 45 days allowed. They ask for things that other counties don't bother with. Heck some counties give it out the same day, walk in with your application, walk out with your LTCF. Maybe it's all the "transplants" but I doubt it, I think the sheriff is just a stickler for details, illegal ones yes, but non the less details.

Illegal details that prevent me from getting my LTCF. He's also VERY rude and disrespectful if you try to discuss this with him.

If I did that, the sheriff would run screaming.

Re: Handed in my Monroe county LTCF application
You might be surprised, when I did mine it was 30 day's (not business day's either). The process in Monroe is certainly not the best but its not the worst either. My friend just did his last month, day after he turned his application in, I received the reference post card and had it back in the mail the same day. He also got his in 30 day's. Would be nice if we could walk out the same day but at least we don't have to wait 45 business day's like some others.

Re: Handed in my Monroe county LTCF application
My neighbor and I turned our applications in on the same day, together.
I received my approval after 42 days, he got his after 43 days.
Most of my friends received their LTCF some time between 35 and 45 days.
One of my best friends is a known businessman in the east stroudsburg area, and received his in under 2 weeks. He carries large amounts of money daily in the process of his job.
My mothers' friend is buddies with the sheriff and received his in 2 days.
It's all about who you know.
My old boss grew up with most of the people at the sheriffs office. I didn't tell her about it until after I was approved. She said, had she known, she would have called down and had a chat with them and I would have had my LTCF within a week.

Re: Handed in my Monroe county LTCF application
My husband & I had gotten ours in 38 days.
We had both gotten it the same day.
The best way to wait for it, is try not thinking about it.......lmao even though that didn't work for us.
