FL Non resident
I have the FL paper work all filled out...prints, photos, notary etc. I just dont have the funds to mail it out yet. If i dont get it mailed out...for say 6 months...would these still be "usable"?
Its all dated Sept 2009...

Re: FL Non resident
I guess that'll work.
I have all my FL paperwork here on the desk, but haven't done anything with it yet. I'm considering just doing it in person when I go down there for the annual Bike Week trip in Feb/Mar."It's hard to imagine a more stupid or more dangerous way of making decisions than by putting those decisions in the hands of people who pay no price for being wrong."

Re: FL Non resident
The only thing I can think of is that they may hit you on a technicality on the passport photo -- it's supposed to be taken within 30 days of the application, so if you go past 30 days of the notary date, I suppose they could deny you based on that. I have absolutely no basis for that, but it was something that caught my eye when I looked through the application instructions just now.
Perhaps include a receipt for recently-taken passport photos when you submit the application...? I dunno...

Re: FL Non resident
Found this on page 5 of FL instructions:
***Your fingerprint fee remit covers TWO FINGERPRINT SUBMISSIONS. Both fingerprint submissions must occur within 180 days. If
a problem occurs with your first fingerprint submission AND we do not receive your application until after 90 days has passed, we may
not have adequate time in which to analyze the problem and notify you so that you can submit a second set of fingerprints within the
180-day time frame. In this circumstance, we would have no alternative but to require you to have your fingerprints scanned again,
and this would require the payment of an additional fingerprint fee.
Maybe i'll start looking now for another printer...
