    Default 1956 built Ruger Flatgate Single Six Revolver

    This is an unfired (I bought it as such and it appears to be) blued Ruger Single Six in 22 LR caliber. It has a serrated front sight, 5.5" barrel and original black grips. It has had the safety conversion done to it by Ruger previous to my ownership and I do not have the original lockwork. It is an attractive revolver with very strong bluing and has only storage and handling marks and a couple scratches. These are cumulative to the 53 years this revolver has been around. I've had it several years and I'm not into safe queens, so I am passing it on. If I keep it much longer, I'll probably end up firing it.
