Pew Current Events Knowlege Quiz
a neat little quiz to see how up you are on current events...
http://pewresearch.org/politicalquiz/quiz/index.php
the distribution of scores from people taking the test is scary. there are a lot of really uninformed people out there...and many of them vote.
no wonder we get one crappy politician after another elected.F*S=k

Re: Pew Current Events Knowlege Quiz
Here's Your Score: You correctly answered 12 of the 12 possible questions along with approximately 2% of the public. You did better than 98% of the general public.
Guess I'm doing OK."...a REPUBLIC, if you can keep it."

Re: Pew Current Events Knowlege Quiz
yeah...that's the scary part. it is a ridiculously easy quiz...yet over half the respondents got more than half the questions wrong.
further, the people taking the quiz are a self-selecting sample--which is most likely skewed in the direction of being more knowledgeable than the general population. YIKES!
(this is why i hate "get out the vote" campaigns. they only encourage people who have no clue to vote...they should have the right to vote, but i really wish they would not exercise it without first getting a clue.)F*S=k

No idea

Re: Pew Current Events Knowlege Quiz
12 out of 12 with no use of google or outside resources. The only question I really had to think about had to do with troop levels. Disappointingly, as of the time of this post, none of the 12 questions were answered correctly more frequently than 75% of the time. One particular question had an 18% correct answer rate, though admittedly, it's somewhat obscure unless you're really, really paying attention to the nuts and bolts of that particular issue.
