That was covered at length in the several threads we've had recently regarding Fox News.

Consider the statements of the KGB agent regarding people clinging to certain indoctrinated beliefs despite mountains of evidence to the contrary staring them in the face. That pretty much sums up the whole "birther" movement, to give just one example.

Just because the Nazis and the Soviets advanced the science and art of propaganda, doesn't mean that the only people who can use those techniques to their advantage are fascists and communists.
