The 2-4 MACHSA (Mid Atlantic Citizen's Homeland Security Association) "Mountain Men" is a local Citizen Militia group in the area. They are having a get together and meet and greet this upcoming Sat. We usually do training every month in the form of a two day FTX the third weekend of every month. However due tot the holidays we are taking a break until Jan. However Sat from 1200hrs to 21:00hrs we are doing a meet and greet "movie night" we will meet in the Garage at our training area and begin by watching Blackhawk down and discussing key points that should be learned, we will than watch some key training videos that our unit has put together for some of the newer guys. We will eat as very hearty large meal (and some pot luck) and than finish the evening with Saving Private Ryan and discuss core values and selfless service, and what it means to be a Militiaman (or woman) in your community.
This is a great opportunity for people to come out and meet the group, and see what the militia is all about and decide if it is for you, and meet our training staff etc to see if you want to get involved and start training with us, fighting with us, and helping out your community.
