So far in November...

I have had a lot of time to hunt. I've been out of work for about 4 weeks now since I haven't gotten any contracts. So I've been fishing and hunting as much as possible.

To start out with I have been doing a bit of pheasant hunting.

Then on the 5th 6th and 7th my father and I went to our property in Wayne county for a little bit of turkey hunting. On friday the 6th I hit this guy with a 2oz. load of 5 shot from my 12ga 3.5" mag.

Then on tuesday the 10th I had 4 seperate bucks under my stand and I decided to take the 7 point. Well he would be a 7 point if he had not broken of his brow tine. There are several bigger bucks on the property that I archery hunt but I have decided to wait until next year to see if they can become something truly impressive. There are 3 other bucks that I see daily just like this 7 so I figured he would look good in my refigerator. Who knows, maybe I'll get a chance at a bigger one in MD or NY later this year.

I also got a doe but I didn't take any pics, she was small and wasn't too impressive for picture taking. Either way she will be very good on the dinner table. Hopefully my November luck will continue since my birthday in the 22nd and bear season starts the day after. Maybe I'll get my first bear.

You guys are really starting to piss me off... lol I live in prime hunting country and I have only had a chance to get out once, and that was for dove back around Labor Day.

BTW, nice harvests!
