Default Mr Heater - Big Buddy Heater?? Anyone have one or use one?

I have been looking for a portable heat source for my garage area. I wanted something portable to also use in my windowed in porch/florida room. Has anyone ever used one of these? Any thoughts or recommendations?

I have one. I use it in a small enclosed deer stand. I also use in my vehicle when I am on surveillance in the winter. It is good for the deer stand as it much more ventilated than my surveillance vehicle. In the surveillance vehicle it gets too warm, even with ventilation. Do not get me wrong, it is a blessing on a surveillance on a cold day, you just have to keep turning it on and off.

That said, I do not know if it will push an entire room, BTU wise. I like it for an "emergency" heat source in a pinch. They have a converter to hook up larger supply sources.

In my Range House I have the heater that mounts to the wall, it is like a BIG Mr. Heater. That would definitely do it and is fairly inexpensive, just not portable.

Be safe (and toasty, not toasted).
