Wyoming County LTCF app question.
First, sorry, the Wyoming County forum is dead so I am posting this here.
Do they use a current PSP Application with no extra info or hoops required to jump thru?
I see on the sherifs website they say "Instant check utilized for approval", does this mean they can/do issue on the spot?
Here is a link
http://www.wyomingcountypa.org/wyomi...=1465&q=454485
It is under the "CONCEALED WEAPONS PERMITS" section.
Thanks!

Re: Wyoming County LTCF app question.
Just making a general comment here, as I am not in Wyoming County:
"Instant check utilized for approval" means that the Pennsylvania Instant Check System (PICS) is used for the background check, as is done for all LTCF applicants in all PA counties.
Theoretically, a person could be issued the LTCF on the spot, if they pass the PICS. It just depends on the county and the sheriff as to how they do this.
Hopefully someone from Wyoming Co. will tell you for sure.

Re: Wyoming County LTCF app question.
Yep. Instant. 15 minutes, in & out, with LTCF in hand. First time LTCF application, too. At least it was a year ago.
Very good experience.
