Northampton is not that far away.
And the wife always makes too much food (IOW, it might be worth the drive )_________________________________________

If I were you I would take Pa Patriot up on his offer. You are not too far, and he has experience with that rifle now. He can take a look at it, and if you are experiencing the same issues, he can take care of it for you. Would be more than worth the drive, rather then send it back to S&W for them to do basically the same thing he will do, and it will be cheaper too.
Just sayinIf zombies start chasing us, I'm going to trip you!

Re: S&W M&P 15-22 Review
Hello everyone!! I’m new to the forum. I’ve been trolling around here for a few weeks. I picked up a new MP 15-22 Saturday. Sunday I took it to the range and had the same symptoms as Solo four times in about 250 rounds. I had 2 CCI and 2 Federal stovepipe in the chamber before they fed. I bought two extra magazines when I got the rifle. I wish I would have indexed the mags before I shot with them as I have now done.
I am by no means a gunsmith. Is it normal to have forward and rearward movement with the magazine in the magwell? This rifle seems to. Does that have any effect on the round riding up the feed ramp into the barrel? Could that possibly cause the round not to feed?
I never had a round fail to eject. I had 2 Federal rounds fail to fire but feel it was the ammo.
Thanks for any help!

I purchaced my M&P MOE back in November as an early Christmas preasent to my self and I love it. I put a NcStar mil dot scope on it and it is a tack driver at 50 yards. I love to take my kids out to the range where they shoot DUM DUM lollie pops. They hoot and holler when the hit them and the lollie pop explodes into sugary dust.

The first vehicles normally on the scene of a crime are ambulances and police cruisers. If you are armed you have a chance to decide who gets transported in which vehicle, if you are not armed then that decision is made for you.
Be prepared, because someone else already is and no one knows their intent except them.

I find that I have feeding issues if I use the thumb assist to just drop rounds into the magazine. Try loading them one at a time without the load assist and I believe it will clear up those feeding issues.
