I feel almost like "Clarence" in It's a Wonderful Life, although I have to admit that I'm not earning any wings too soon at this point.

For the past few years I've been talking to an acquaintance about the whole 2A phenomenon, and after a few range trips to get familiarized with the basics of pistol shooting, calibers, actions, etc., he made the decision to pick up a pistol. It turned out to be a brand-new, old stock Steyr M9 from John at Seneca Arms, which we took down to French Creek Outfitters for its initial test run after a good scrubbing and a lesson on pistol-cleaning beforehand.

Perhaps egd2010 will be good enough to give us a range report and introduce himself one day soon to this august assemblage. Until then, say hello and give him a kind welcome here.
