Shops that do trades?

I am impatient so I don't wanna wait till it sells.

I'd like to, if possible, trade my fullsize S&W M&P .40 for the compact version at a local shop.

However, I am not looking to take a bath on it. (I have it up for sale for $500 shipped)

Anyone know of any competitive shops that would do this?

While we're on the subject, I'm trying to sell my CX4 Storm .40 S&W. Anyone know what shops would likely give me for that?

if you take it to a shop be prepared to take a bath on it because you'll get no where near 500 bucks. i would guess you could probably expect between 300-350 depending on condition. since you live in bucks cty you might try trading it in at Tanners since they usually will give you a fair trade in amount. your best bet is to be patient and see if yours sells.

Look on Buds Gun shop online. It now tells you what they will pay for guns cash/trade. There are several different prices depending on the model but they are no where near $500. I personally find them kind of insulting and would love to pay some of them prices even once in a while. But I guess they are in line with what a shop would give you and they were running the M&P's new a while back for less than your used one.

I usually only trade a gun if it is a lemon otherwise I sell it outright. Gunbroker is a good way to sell it quick and will probably get you the money you are looking for. Another possibility is selling on consignment at a shop.
