Default P7 Back from Robar!!! (Pic Heavy)

I am a revolver guy, as many of you may or may not know. However, I traded a fine revolver for a P7 (PSP) from an excellent member here on the forum a short while ago. Since I received that P7, I have fallen in lust for the accuracy, reliability and down right awesomeness of this finely crafted forged steel, milled to perfection gas retarded weapon.

Here is a picture of the pistol as I received it:

Awesome indeed. However, I wanted to change a little something on this fine weapon. Namely, the finish. Robar was having a special last month for Roguard and NP3 refinishing of entire weapons and one magazine included. The deal was 10% off and free return shipping. This was a deal I could not refuse, and it saved me approximately 100 USD. (yes, shipping is expensive as hell)

I sent the pistol to Robar with the instructions for them to apply the Roguard Matte finish to the majority of the externals and NP3 the internals including the firing pin bushing (they did in good taste NP3'd the cocking lever, takedown button, slide lock and mag release as well) and to NP3 the three additional magazines I included with the pistol. Enough said, here are the pics:

    Pistol and four mags.

    Close up.

    Take down button close up.

    NP3 internals.

Cool NP3 on the extractor and cocker.

    NP3 firing pin bushing assembly.

    NP3 on the slide lock.

If you look careful, you will see the silver NP3 on the firing pin assembly.

    Close up of internals.

Close up of internals on the other side.

Happy stuff, now I just need to mount the night sights.

And all assembled and lubed, ready for the range and carry

Now that is what I am talking about.
Here are it's long lost brothers.

I found both triggers to be terrible to me so the triggers are on a scale to me.. The Glock was a crisper suck and the XD was a more mushy suck. They are in the same family, SR9 (heavy suck), Glock (crisp heavy suck), XD( lighter mushy suck), M&P(heavy mushy suck).

Nice! Let us know if the NP3 makes any difference in the feel (cocking/trigger).

Yes, it does. The NP3 on the cocker, internals and the firing pin assembly make it actuate a bit smoother after I lubed it up. It is from the factory a slick pistol, yet the slippery feel of the NP3 shows through.

In about an hour she is going to the range for a work out.
