    Default New SR22

Finally found my SR 22. Had to dress it up a little bit, though.

How much did it set you back? Cuz honestly it's a 10/22. If it was near $400 or more I would have just gone with the S&W M&P15-22 if I wanted a AR looking 22

Yeah, I looked at both. My guy had the Ruger for $480 and the S&W for $435.

I decided on the Ruger because of the reputation of the 10/22. The all aluminum construction gives it a pretty good heft, and the threaded barrel will let me put a can on it later.

Maybe I'll get the SW later.

    both have their perks.

just got the SIG 522 so i'm hoping its the best of all the guns out there. it just feels right. i was on the fence about to get the M&P but then BAM, SIG comes out with the 522 finally.
