Alaska resident Dave Ross' flight into Pittsburgh Airport for a short visit to the Keystone State last July was uneventful - until, that is, he was arrested for retrieving his sidearm from checked baggage and holstering up on the way out of the airport . . .

I love GOOD NEWS! Thanks for posting that Mike. It's just too bad that the county can't be held liable for violating the law like us peasants.

Its a shame that for many of the laws in this state a good person has to go to jail and expunge funds to fight for what is already a right and the word of the law.

I'm not remotely surprised that he was found guilty. Don't ever expect a Magistrate to get it right when it comes to the law.

I have a court transcript in which a Magistrate actually told a defendant "Well, I'm not realy familiar with that law." That is... the law the defendant was actually being charged with.

    Glad this one was resolved.
