Lou Dobbs "Leaving" CNN
Lou Dobbs just read his departing speech on his show on CNN. It was one of those "we've agreed to go our separate ways" speeches, but between the lines, it was clear he was fired for failing to push CNN's liberal agenda.
I can't say I am surprised at all.
Did anyone else just see it?

He probably wasn't sitting well with Obama.
Several weeks ago, a couple weeks into Fox News' little tussle with Obama, I noticed Fox changed the way they referred to the Federal Government's liberal agenda OVERNIGHT. I turned on the TV and all of the sudden they were saying how much we need federal healthcare "reform," the problem was the things missing - tort reform and money to pay for it.

I can't say I'm surprised. I would expect more in the future
The first vehicles normally on the scene of a crime are ambulances and police cruisers. If you are armed you have a chance to decide who gets transported in which vehicle, if you are not armed then that decision is made for you.
Be prepared, because someone else already is and no one knows their intent except them.

Re: Lou Dobbs "Leaving" CNN
I have to agree. A few of those in denial of whats going on in Washington are finally getting religion as they say. I expect in the next year and a half anyone with any intelligence working in these media environments will know the house of cards around them is crumbling. Look at the rating drops across the board in Cable as Network news over they last five years. It is a disaster to say the least. It isn't coming back until major ideological changes occur inside these organizations.
The only thing that will save them isn't going conservative but becoming truly neutral and unbiased across the board when reporting the news to the public.Last edited by ALS; November 12th, 2009 at 12:30 PM.
