1847 Walker - Black Powder - Magnum
I put together some video loading and shooting the 1847 Walker. This is a black powder horse pistol that weighs 4 lbs 8 oz and was meant to be carried in a saddle holster. It is designed to take 60 grains of black powder and delivers a muzzle energy of over 500 foot pounds. It is the equivalent of a modern .357. The gun was meant to take down opposing horses.
