Re: would you ever move from PA?
I love the cold weather.
What I don't like about PA is the sunny weather. The humidity here is outrageous. It turns an enjoyable day into misery.
I've spent time in montana, colorado, and arizona, in 90-100+ heat, and didn't sweat a drop, because it's dry heat. There was no humidity to thicken the air and make everyone a sweaty mess. I loved it.

Re: would you ever move from PA?
i would consider it, but there are only a few states i would move to unless i really had to.
vermont
new hampshire
arizona
alaska
west virginia
are some i would consider off the top of my head. though i would have to double-check some of their laws before i would be thrilled about the idea.
indiana would be OK from a gun laws standpoint, but it's too frickin' flat and full of corn.F*S=k

Re: would you ever move from PA?
when i was younger i always wanted to move to Montana.. still wouldnt mind it so much except for the rediculous winters they have there.... mind you, i like having all 4 seasons... so i think northern Arizona would be to my liking more than anywhere else...

I like PA. I'd have to do more traveling to see if I like any other states...but I think I'd enjoy a nice 100 acre property in the middle of nowhere in Wyoming.

Move from PA? In a heartbeat. Don't blink, I'd be gone.
Nothing against the state or the people, especially the fine folks I've met thru PAFOA. However, I absolutely hate the climate. If you've never been west of the Mississippi, you really have no idea what blue skies and sunshine are. Day after day of cold, wet, gray skies just depress the hell out of me.
I hope someday to be able to move so far southwest that the only thing they know what ice is about is to pour bourbon over. The only way I ever want to see snow again is at Christmas when I am forced to watch "It's a Wonderful Life". Give me Arizona, New Mexico, Nevada, or southern Utah any day.
My situation demands that I remain here, as my wife cannot move away from her parents due to their health issues. When that eventually changes, I'm outta here...Underwater, the ONLY way to fly...

Re: would you ever move from PA?
The states that I've been in (need to visit a lot more) ...
As far as moving ... I hate the weather here. I would love to have San Diego weather but refuse to live in CA because of the Politics/taxes/etc
I could probably handle Arizona or Nevada. Would love Denver too but hate winter any more so that's a no go.
