Default Build on Stag or Colt Lower?

Looking for some popular opinion here... I am going to build another SBR and have two options. I can build on a complete Stag lower that I bought from a member here or I can pull the lower from my lnib Colt LE6920 and build off of that. Then I would just slap the 6920 upper on the Stag lower and possibly sell it as a complete rifle. Any feedback on which way to go?

I have multiple guns built on Stag lowers including a Beowulf. I would say no issue. 2 main reasons.

    1. Most lowers do not have issues when regarding the function and durability of the gun

    2. Not that I'm a pony fan but Do Not separate the Colt. Dumasses pay alot for that stupid pony and splitting up the gun will kill its resale value.

If it were me I'd SBR the Colt lower, then sell the complete Colt upper and Stag lower seperate.

Can you substantiate your position? Also what do you think a 20 round fired complete LE6920 would sell for?

Being you can buy a brand new 6920 for 945.00 I'd say you should be able to get about 900.00 for a local FTF sale.

Personal prefrence on the Colt for me. If I were to SBR a lower there are only a few I would use, again personal prefrence.

I would buy another stripped lower and build that. Spikes are around $90-$100 at gun shows.

Most places want the lower to be stripped for engraving anyways. While you wait the 5-6 months for the stamp save money and assemble the lower and decide what you want to do for an upper.

Stag and Colt are both made by CMT......very little difference in lowers.
