You could have driven away and avoided this altercation. If the guy got your license number, you may get a visit from the police...and you may lose your LCTF.
If you get away with this, I suggest you keep your cool and your firearm in your holster if this kind of thing happens again. In fact, if you're as hot tempered as your post indicates your are, you may want to reconsider carrying a firearm.
Well, pushed 60 too hard so now I am the big SIX-OH. Now I can be a real pain in the ass! And, who says growin' old isn't fun!!

If it came down to a shooting, you'd probably be in big trouble. Provoking the argument that leads to the shooting nullifies defense as a justification. Escalating a confrontation you didn't provoke nullifies defense as a justification. Sounds like you should work on managing your temper before someone gets in serious trouble.

Without making any commentary, I might suggest this is something that one may not wish to post about on a public forum.

    Concur...

Might as well just call the police and let them know that if someone had reported having a gun pointed at them... that it was you.

Very bad idea, IMO, to post this in first person, if at all.

Moral of the story: When someone is driving like an asshat, intentionally escalating the situation is a bad idea. Provoking a response is not considered "defending yourself".
