Default Man with Loaded Gun Arrested at Downtown Disney

I know this isn't in PA, but thought it would be interesting to post seeing as many people on here have probably been or will go in the future to Disney World.

I like how the article includes the "loaded" part in the headline... as if carrying an unloaded gun would make a difference... or make any sense.
The article doesn't mention any problems with having a gun on Disney property, just that the gun was found/stolen, and that the gangster didn't have a permit to conceal it.
Does anyone know the actual policy for carrying in Downtown Disney with a carry permit. I'm pretty sure the parks themselves are off limit, but I don't remember ever seeing a sign posted around the Downtown area.

As far as carrying, I'm not sure but I think the "pay" area would be off limits seeing as how alcohol is served there. Although you should be good to go in the "shopping" area of Downtown Disney.

Thinking your speaking of the Pleasure Island section with the night clubs? Those night clubs closed in Sept 2008.

However, FL does have an alcohol establishment prohibition:

Florida's private property and off-limit's rules are like PA's - landowner rights prevail.

With the alcohol thing down there - places that are dedicated to the sale and consumption, or portions of establishments dedicated like a bar section are off-limits. You can still go into places that serve alcohol so long as it isn't a bar, tavern, or club, or be seated in the bar section of a restaurant.

I actually showed my LTCF when buying tickets at a certain theme park. I figured if they were going to have a problem it would be better to have a problem then rather than after taking a pile of my money. They said nothing, we had a nice safe day, and all was good.
