Question Who to call after a gun incident?

I often see written that in a situation where you have had to use deadly force to defend yourself (at home or away) you should call your attorney immediately (after calling 911) and not give police a full statement until you speak to legal council. And, you should carry their phone number in your wallet.

    My question:
    1) how many people out there actual have a lawyer pre-chosen and carry their number?
    2) who in Lacka. Co. would be a good choice? I would hate to be in the position of mistakenly picking an attorney at such a stressful time from the phone book who, unknowing to me, was inexperienced at gun self-defense cases or who might even be anti-gun.

I would not give ANY statement without an attorney.

Your first line of your defence should be your family attorney when you are first questioned by the police, after that he can recomend and work with a attorney schooled in firearm related law.
    Government 99 and 44/100 % pure bullshit.

I have seven attorneys and a bail bondsman that I may choose to engage depending on the specifics and location of a particular incident.

None on retainer, just some type of preliminary contact with each - meaning that they would know who I am if I were to call.
