South Central L.A. and Newark N.J are cesspools of poverty and ignorance. I have worked in both places, and guess what? GUNS WEREN'T THE PROBLEM, A HUGE AMOUNT OF IGNORANCE COUPLED TO A LACK OF JOBS AND A MASSIVE, NON-STOP TIDAL WAVE OF DRUGS (FED BY HOPELESSNESS) WERE.

Saying you are sickened by the violence in our nation is like saying you are opposed to small puppies being set on fire. AN IDIOTIC, NO ST STATEMENT, AND A COP-OUT, USELESS RESOLUTION.

Yet ANOTHER politician who doesn't really want to get to the REAL root of the problem, but instead just wants to keep his power. Yet ANOTHER politician who blames the tool and empowers it as if it were demonically possessed, instead of recognizing the human or their intent.

While I don't try to take quite the tone in this post, the reality is still the same, neither of these politician are going to be good for the nation, let alone the 2nd Amendment.

Abolishing the second amendment is small cheese, a means to an end for these two.

But to compare me to him is silly. I do not seek to deny you your rights nor do I seek to grasp power based on squishy axioms from a rousing speech to my constituents. Obama is, quite possibly, the next President of the United States. And he will get there with the use of misinformation and pillow talk like you see in this article. Legions of people are in love with him (one of my relatives included) because of his youth, his intelligence, and his ability to speak (he is a talented orator). His race plays a huge part, as race always does in the United States: Many feel they are ready for an African American Pres.

I yell loudly when I see people who want to retract our rights. And when they do it with feelgood statements I get mad ...... Everything I pointed out in my statement is either fact or experience. I find it despicable that he uses the people of Newark and South Central to further his cause - I wonder if he's been to either place for more than a 48 hour stretch, without his body gaurds and sycophants??

While I was working in those two cities I saw PEOPLE. HUMANS, and also citizens of our great nation. It is a crime that Americans live in poverty. They were good people but they lived a hard life. You know what they asked me for most? Not money, not food, not anything else except:

JOBS. I was on the street (vendor for a soda company) People came up to me and asked if my employer, or others, were hiring. They had no qualms about asking me, they weren't scared, nor were they hostile. They were just people, and like all of you they want some SELF-RESPECT. Being employed helps with that.

Obama disrespects them because he speaks of their plight and pretends he is on their side and loosely promises a fix. That "fix", which will not work, comes at the expense of your GOD GIVEN rights.



So punish me if you want for my poor use of language. I reserve the right to act like a teenager once in a while But don't campare me to him - he wants you to lose your rights and toe the line.

For the record Bush said he would sign any gun control legislation that was sent his way.
To Obama's credit he, unlike most Republicans, is honest about what he would do once elected. The Republicans will do the same, they just lie about it during the election.

Of the 15 or so candidates of either party running right now, I think all but maybe two or three will betray their oath of office in the first month. In fact, of the curent field, I think Obama ranks pretty high on the integrity scale, certainly no deception on the 2A. The fact that the Constitution means nothing to him in no way separates him from most of the pack.

The Republican brand is pure trash now. After what they have done with the war and spending they won't be back in office for 8 years, and even then no guarentee that person won't be better than the traitor we have now. It is time we dust off the containers we used to stash our guns and ammo during the first AWB under Clinton. Unless, of course Ron Paul wins.

One thing I noticed, based upon a discussion with one of Angel Cruz (Philly rep...normally an idiot) Aides...and, a comment made by Cruz when he tried to justify one of his bills.

Cruz made the comment (paraphrased) that "if the government can allow rights, it can remove rights" or words to that effect.
Some of you may recall that...it created quite a hullaballoo.

Anyway, women were granted the right to vote by the 19th Amendment.
Which Amendment granted the right to vote to non-caucasion people?

Well, don't bother looking...it isn't there. Non-caucasions were allowed to vote by legislative action only, which can be repealed.

Maybe Obama needs to be reminded of this...
