    I just saw that yesterday, now another score for Leroy. That dispatcher sounds quite slow and didn't seem to care someone was breaking in.

    This is not a slam on the police, but they just cannot be everywhere at once. The sad truth is that they mostly take reports after the fact and then try to find the perpetrator. The only person that can ensure your personal safety is you. Everyone on this board knows it. Hard to believe that there are so many otherwise rational adults that just don't make the connection.
