Upgraded Sights

I have a Taurus PT1911. I am looking to upgrade the sights on it. Can anyone recomend me a sight that I can get them from. Also, it looks like they are on there with a pin that would need to be punched out. Or is it a screw? The tear down manual says its a screw, but I am really confused by looking at it.

You can get replacement sights from Brownells, MidwayUSA, and/or a myriad of other places that carry sights for 1911's.

To make sure it fits correctly, insure you know the angles of the cuts of the dovetails. If not sure, you should be able to go to www.m1911.org and find the info.

Define "upgrade".

What don't you like about the current ones?
