SHIPPENSBURG, Pa. -- Police in Cumberland County are looking into a home invasion involving as many as 16 people.

The home invasion happened in the 200 block of High Street in Shippensburg early Sunday morning.

Two people in an apartment said that the group of men kicked down the doors, assaulted the tenants and stole a cell phone.

I cant even imagine. I doubt it's random. If it is random though, I cant imagine. Guess you would need an AR with a full magazine.

I would be willing to put money on it that the renters were involved in drug dealing and more than just a cell phone was taken.

Yeah the whole thinks stinks of something more. I am sure the true story will come out. But like you said if was random... I am sure after watching 5 of their buddies heads split open they would change their minds.

Yeah, I'm guessing that wasn't the whole story. Something illegal (other than B&E, assault, and robbery) went down.

Only the first couple broke in, the rest just walked in.
After the first 2-3 were shot dead, I'm sure the rest would run like hell in the other direction, and with a group that size, it would be pretty hard to miss.
