Default Simple, effective reloading set up.....

Here's some pictures of my set up. Standard Lee Anniversary kit with an auto-powder measure add-on. I used our old kitchen table that we outgrew after the birth of our 3rd daughter a few years ago. It got put into our basement & is (was!) used for the kids crafts and stuff like that.

I mounted the press with lag bolts to a piece of 1" marine plywood and then took a scrap piece of cutting board that was headed to the trash at work and cut a slot to go around the press. I drilled 100 holes in the board to hold shells once I put powder in them. it'll hold .40, 9mm, .223 & .38 universally. I screwed the cutting board to the plywood then. The whole shebang is simply held to the table with (2) $1.99 Harbor freight clamps. Easy on, easy off! As a bonus, everything wipes right off of the cutting board. I can set the whole rig up or tear it down in less than 2 or 3 minutes. Now, I get to sit in the warm & cozy basement instead of a frigid or swealtering shed!

FWIW, I just saw Cabelas has this kit on sale for $89! (Of course minus the "shell holder" and mounting board!)

Nice. Thanks for sharing. That's about how mine started out... except I converted an old reading desk instead of a kitchen table. It kept growing until I finally had no choice but to build a reloading bench...
