Nov 3rd are you Voting to protect your firearm rights?
The Firearm Owners Against Crime (FOAC) PRO GUN voters guides are up.
Kim Stolfer said that the rest will be up in the eastern part of PA in the next few days.
http://www.foac-pac.org/
For everyone out there that doesn't usually VOTE there are NUMEROUS elected positions that are open and they are going to be filed with a person with an agenda or someone that supports your Constitutional rights.
Now you get to decide WHO occupy the position!
Many of those elected positions are for judges at all levels that will be decided by those who Vote on Nov 3, 2009
Often people will post a court decision both for US of against firearms on PAFOA, but IF you are not doing your job by voting someone else gets to decide who occupies that position.
PA Supreme Court in a 3 to 2 narrowly ruled against ACSL vs PSP and let the PSP keep the non database / not complete firearm registry and look at all the misery and COST that has been allowed to continue because of those judges decisions.
All 3 were R's by the way that stabbed gun owners in the back.
The one D that is AG to the max, read and supported the law as written and supported gun owners
This is why its important you you to VOTE!
Right now We have mandatory L&S working its way through the courts and other firearm related issues in the PA courts so the elections of Judges do matter and your votes do matter the most in off season elections like.
So I hope you are all considering doing your small part to elect Pro Gun people to office, down load fliers and pass them out at you gun clubs, email them to gun owning friends do you part to protect your rights.
So please go to FOAC website and spread the word to VOTE on Nov 3.

Re: Nov 3rd are you Voting to protect your firearm rights?
Here in Montgomery county we have 'no suitable candidate' for the positions. I think I will write in my own name.
Anyone want to vote for me?
Better yet is there anyone we could name that would send the message the Gun owners did not vote for them? The parties would see how many votes they could have gotten.

Re: Nov 3rd are you Voting to protect your firearm rights?
You have Susquehanna County listed as 'no suitable candidate' for sheriff why ?
I thought Lance M. Benedict, Sheriff was a decent choice as when he found out he was wrong he reversed himself on Damage Control LTCF also he was suppose to be using this site after taking to Pa Patriot. Last post in the thread http://forum.pafoa.org/concealed-car...f-page-21.html
Oh and on a side note the Sheriff said he will be using the web address of PAFOA on his LTCF flyers because there is such good info here!!

Yea, the no candidate issue needs to be alleviated. If we dont vote for someone the worst person can win!

Nearly every candidate in NWPA isn't suitable, which is odd considering the pure wilderness up this way.
The other curious thing is the Butler County Sheriff race. They selected Slupe instead of Roland. I don't have a dog in this fight, but Roland has been on here sharing his views. I'm not sure why/how PAOC makes its choices, though.Nine out of ten moderators approve of this post!

Re: Nov 3rd are you Voting to protect your firearm rights?
anyone know where I can find out what all positions are up for election?
The first vehicles normally on the scene of a crime are ambulances and police cruisers. If you are armed you have a chance to decide who gets transported in which vehicle, if you are not armed then that decision is made for you.
Be prepared, because someone else already is and no one knows their intent except them.

When in doubt, look for your county website.

Re: Nov 3rd are you Voting to protect your firearm rights?
Wasn't this woman (Joan Orie Melvin) ripped apart by the Pittsburgh Press and now she's supported by the FOAC for Supreme Court ??? What's going on with these choices. Please explain as I'm thick headed and would like to know how these choices were made. Are they friends are we getting paid to support them what's going on ? Almost every county in the state you have "No SUITABLE CANDIDATE" for sheriff your telling me no one running for sheriff should be supported ????
