## days and counting...

It's been 35 days since I applied for my LTCF...applied on 9/17. I called Sheriff Rossi's office today and left a message asking for a status update, but I don't expect an answer anytime soon. I know there's a maximum 45 day wait, but from recent posts in the Lehigh County forum, it seems his current turnaround time is between 4 to 5 weeks. My question is should I go into the office to inquire the status tomorrow or should I wait for the 45 day period to end? The 45th day is is 11/1.

Move to York County, LTCF in 15 minutes.

I really sympathize with those of you having to wait extended times for this. It's a shame everyone doesn't get similar service. Remember to vote! Vote early, vote often!

The sheriff may be, mistakenly and against statute, going by 45 business days rather than 45 calendar days.

My wife got hers a week before me, even though I applied a 2 weeks before her... I got mine exactly 44 business days from application, the wife got hers around the 30 day mark. I haven't heard of anyone getting their LTCF from Lehigh county any faster than 30 business days.
