military ammo cans???
Where can i get military ammo cans somewhere near reading, pa. Could buy them on-line but shipping kills you. I'm figuring there has to be somewhere local where i can get them.

Re: military ammo cans???
Here in Pittsburgh, the local Army/Navy store has them. Do a Google search and see what shows up in your area. For the record, the Army/Navy store had them for about four times the price that I paid for them at a gun show. The gun show had skads of them and I gave him $20 for five medium cans.

Re: military ammo cans???
They're half of what Targetmaster wants at the Valley Forge Gun Show (mid-December). Granted, it's $9 to get in but you usually go for other trinkets anyways so the $ saved on shipping might make up for it.

At the Harrisburg show recently, we were buying the 50 cal cans (med. size) for $7.00.

Re: military ammo cans???
I remember a fellow at the HBG show in the spring had the 50's at 6 bucks a pop or 4 for 20.
When I looked them over....I realized they were darn near brand new. As in used once and still had styrofoam liners.
I bought eight of em.
I'm keeping my fingers crossed that we might be seeing more of these coming home from the land of the sand.
