Default I need ur imput! Kahr K-9 or Sig P239?

    As title says.
I'm looking to replace my CCW(currently M&P9C) with one of above.
And I can't make up my mind!

    Sig P-239

    Kahr K-9

-Tare both very well made gun.
    -They are both 9mm
-They are both single stack weapon(K-9 is 7+1, and P239 is 8+1)
    -They are both similer price
-They are both similer size9with K-9 being tad bit smaller)
-P239 comes with night sight, and K-9 don't
-DA/SA vs. Glock type semi cocked striker system
    -K-9 is bi-tone, P239 is just black
-Been hearing Sig warrenty dept leaves something to be desired
-More choices for holster, mag with P239
-K-9 is all stainless, no plastic parts
-P239 is stainless slide with aluminum frame
-I have P226, and LOVE it.
-My frind in NYPD carrys K-9 as offduty weapon, and he swears by it.

What you would pick and why?

Sig, its consistently more reliable. I've seen more than a few Kahrs with problems out of the box. Rule10b5 had a few lemons from them, IIRC.

I would get the Sig with the DAK trigger. The two pistols are pretty close in their construction and quality. However, I prefer Sig. The DAK trigger is quite nice and smooth.

Both are very well made guns, but i'd most DEFINITELY go with the Sig P239. I have one, and its the gun that i put on before i leave for the day 9/10 times. Its very concealable, feels perfect in my hands, the whole gun just feels solid. Never a FTF, FTE, or any kind of other hiccup.

I cant say enough good things about them.

I also own 4 Sig P226's, all in 9mm, and its really nice having all the controls basically in the same place as my P226's. It makes the transition that much easier.

I guess that answers the question I left, right after your post.

Well, next to PPS, I'd pick P239 without hesitation.
But, K-9 is such a well made weapon. Has that feel of quality, well engineered, well though out feel, which PPS lacks(IMO)

I'm leaning towrds 239. I love all my Sigs that I have/had(own P-226Combat, Mosqueto, and owned P-6), and while I like K-9, I kept thinking by buying Kahr weapon, I'm somehow contributing to cause of Unification Church..

I happen to have the S&W M&P9C and the Kahr PM9 and I have not had any problems with either one of them. My carry usually is the PM9. It is light weight and easy to handle has more of a recoil than the M&P9C which I attribute to the shorter barrel. I am in the process of getting the Crimson Trace for both of them. If and when the wife ever decides to learn how to shoot I will be giving her the Kahr since I am thinking of getting a Springfield 1911.

I have a 220 and a 228 both were bought in the early 90's. I never had an issue with either. They will shoot anything you feed them and do it quite accurately.

IMHO, you already have a pistol that is superior to the SIG and Kahr. IOW, you're downgrading.

But seriously, why do you feel a need to replace the M&P?
