Have you checked out Skynyrd's latest CD? They really take a stand on what the title is. Some of my favorite tracks are "God and Guns", "Simple Life" and "That Ain't my America".

Agreed. But, I think times have changed along with Johnny's views vs Ronnies. If you listen to the lyrics, they make the distinction of how things were compared to how things are today.

Not to be morbid, but the original version of LS would have been better served advocating Small Airplane Control rather than gun control.

Speaking of gun control and rockers, it's interesting that, in my informal assessment, deaths of rock musicians are by:

1. Drugs, booze, and a distant second:
2. Band transpo.

...guns are way down on the list.
