Default Show off your workhorse. A shrine for the things that are overworked and overlooked.

We all love inviting the guys over, or posting pictures to show off the new fancy car, the custom 1911, the hot chick that somehow was drunk enough to sleep with you, whatever. It's human nature to be proud of the shiny, sexy things that strike envy and jealously into the hearts of those we hold dear. Half of life is gathering stuff to impress people you don't give a rat's ass about. The other half is porn.

This thread is not for the finer things, there is enough of a market for that shit. No, this thread is for the things than we rely on day in and day out. The things that we use and abuse, that we never show off because nobody would give a rat's ass anyways. It is for the old truck that just keeps running. It is for that tool that seems to always work when so many others have let you down. It is for that ugly girl that makes you happy in so many ways, and yet, you pretend not to know her when your friends come around. It is time to pay respect and long overdue publicity to the things in life that we actually earned your respect the hard way. This thread is for you.

    Let me begin.

This is a machine that has handled everything we have tossed at it. We got it for cheap, and make every effort to push it beyond it's breaking point. So far we have been VERY unsuccessful. I would park it in front of a speeding locomotive if I didn't feel like scratching the paint and paying for a new train.

It is half dump truck, half tractor, and half tricycle (with the little handlebar streamers). It has three speeds with hi and lo range, a hydraulic dump bed, a PTO, can turn on a dime (literally) and it can haul more than our fullsize truck.

This thing gets the shittiest jobs around the farm. Usually it hauls manure from the barn to the pile. Occasionally it gets the luxury of hauling any other crap, pulling the tractor out when it gets stuck, dragging the ring at mach 1, and rescuing kittens out of trees for little old ladies. Chuck Norris would drive it if he had the balls.
