WTS: Compaq Presario M2000
Hi there!
The actual model of the laptop is a Compaq Presario M2105US.
I used this laptop during some of my schooling, but I no longer have a use for the laptop.
I bought it brand new at CompUSA and it still may have some of the extended warranty left (I'll have to check on that one).
Here's the stats and some other information as I know it:
Mobile AMD Sempron Processor 2800+ with PowerNow technology (1.6ghz);
500MB (Upgraded from original 256MB) DDR RAM;
54g 802.11b/g WLAN with 125HSM/SpeedBooster and BroadRange support;
24X DVD-ROM/CD-RW Combo Drive;
15-inch Screen;
40GB Hard Drive;
And here's the software that comes with the computer:
Windows XP Home Edition;
MS Office (Word, Excel, Power Point, Outlook);
MS OneNote (this is an AWESOME program for taking notes during class, meetings, etc.);
Norton Personal Firewall;
Norton SystemWorks;
Webroot Spysweeper;
Webroot WindowWasher;
Compaq Opertating System CD;
Compaq Application and Driver Recovery DVD;
I'm also including an EMS carrying case that provides great protection of the laptop.
The Norton and Webroot expire in about a month, but because they are already installed, you shouldn't have any interruption in protection.
If you look at some ads for these computers, you'll see that they have had some power-supply issues in the past. This computer was recently serviced to ensure that it still has many years of expected use ahead!
I'm asking $625 OBO.
