Default L & I Letter Reads Issued What next

Received a letter stating the appeal had been issued, what next?

I was told there is a second letter stating for me to come down to the L & I building in Philly, but I thought it was just the one letter and then come down... anyone remember?

When Philadelphia Improperly revoked me and I received my LTCF back on appeal to L & I I took the letter to the Gun Permit Unit. Walked out with my LTCF.

Do not count on Philadlephia sending you the letter that your LTCF is ready for pick up. Phila also may try to BS you saying they have to redo you background check.

the attorney you used was the same one I used. call him if you need additional help. he will straighten the people in Phila out if neccessary.

philly failed to honor my court ordered expungngement. philly thought expungements only applied to employment.

philly revoked me stating i was not truthfull about arrest history. not that arrest history matters for issuance of LTCF. only convictions count.

i am in the process of cival litigation with the city as a result.

Well I hope things work out for you as they did for me.

I was able to obtain my LTCF.

A fella named Jon helped me out with the red tape.

This post reminded me of something that's been on my mind lately. Why is that in Philly, L&I (Licenses and Inspections, for those outside the city who are unaware of the lingo), is the entity that seems to be revoking LTCF's when in Philadelphia the gun permit unit of the Police Department is the entity that issues LTCF's? While I now live in the city, I had my license issued in Montgomery County, so I still don't know how the process works here, other than that the PD issues LTCF's. I guess I'm just confused, and curious, is all. Anyone shed light on this?

This has me wondering if there might be a way to have an attorney on retainer for PAFOA members.... or maybe more than one.... like one in East, Central, and West PA....

Maybe that could be a perk of becoming a supporting member of the Forum... at the appropriate membership/support rate.....

Has anyone discussed this idea before??
