    Default My son feels safe

The other day, way out of the blue my 5 yr old son tells me that when he grows up, he wants to live with me because I have guns in case the bad guys come. Absolutely brought a tear to my eye! But then I told him when he grows up he can have his own guns in case a bad guy comes, seeing the smile on his face after I said that you would have thought it was Christmas morning! I always teach my kids about safety and being situationally aware- I guess its starting to sink in!

When I got my LTCF my wife was concerned that I would have my gun all the time. Now, she feels like she has her own personal body guard every where we go.

The best day will be the one she realizes:

    a) you aren't with her everywhere

    or

    b) she might need to be your backup at some point

    & she starts carrying herself.

I'm still waiting for that day here...My wife has her LTCF & everything she needs but she still depends upon me to "protect" her.

Awesome. Sounds like something my 5 yr old would say . God love them. They tell it like it is.
