Constable filmed at G20 making what sounds like vague threat

One thing you won't see downtown is a single PA State Constable. A visiting Chicago cop on vacation is a civilian in PA, but they'd rather use those civilians than actual PA peace officers.

That's just a point of interest--I volunteered, as did some other Constables I know about, but I did it (1) just to make them tell me to my face that they despise PA Constables (which they cheerfully did), and (2) because on the off chance they took me, it'd be an interesting experience and an opportunity to keep the peace without violating anyone's civil rights.

I hope nothing bad happens today or tomorrow, but if it does I'll be the first to say, "What the hell did you expect when you bring in renta-thugs from chi-town?"

I didn't see anything unlawful going on there... sounds like the constable just said "Get the F out of my face..." ...

"Congress shall make no law respecting an establishment of religion, or prohibiting the free exercise thereof; or abridging the freedom of speech, or of the press; or the right of the people peaceably to assemble, and to petition the Government for a redress of grievances."

Again, this is the scene that I have nightmares about...

The threat was implied, on the other side of the unspoken "or," and it was under color of law.
