Default I want a survival knife like bear grylls.

Does anyone here know anything about survival knives. I watch Bear grylls every week and never knew how useful a survival knife could be. I want one but don't know what kind to get. I need to know name brands and blade types to research.

If you haven't heard of the Swedish Mora... do yourself a favor and read up on them. SAVE your money and avoid these 100 dollar survival knives. The Mora is light, durable, and affordable enough to buy seven at a time.

The grind of the blade is so long and flat that you can put the entire edge on the stone and FEEL it lying flat against the stone. Its like a built in angle for re-sharpening.

Furthermore it's the sharpest blade I have ever used and since it is so easy to sharpen I have maintained the laser sharp edge that it came with.

Keep it lightly oiled and this low cost knife will really show you that quality and value can still exist in a single product.

I love mine. All of them.

I have one of these for years. I've never been stranded in the jungle but it works for me as a utility knife.
