CNN underestimates intelligence of gun owner during interview

One thing I never understand about the whole AK-47/AR-15 argument is why pro-gun folks never point out the fact that these are just semi-automatic rifles just like other semi-automatic rifles.

An M1 Garand or a run of the mill semi-auto rifle is really no different. They just "look" evil... hence... Evil Black Rifle.. but just because it "looks" menacing doesn't mean it's any different than a semi-automatic rifle that looks like a hunting rifle..

That point is never mentioned... ever... it needs to be...

Thanks... I needed that... glad to know I'm not nuts.. because I seriously have never seen anyone arguing pro-gun on TV making the point. Maybe I am just unlucky, or maybe I just don't watch enough TV
