Any HH&A Members here?...
That are getting annoyed with the TMI security people reserving the range for large blocks of time? They have use of the rifle facilities all week this week (When most people are off work for the holiday and can go shooting).

Re: Any HH&A Members here?...
I was thinking about joining, but im new to the area and dont really know anyone around. I usually head up to the Clarks Creek public range about a 30 min drive, although HH&A is about 10 min away. I do alot of shooting up there with my modified ruger 10/22, i wanna just fill up a clip and let it rip sometimes but I know theres like a 3 shot limit at the range so i dont know how shooters up there would react to that, and its only bench shooting.

Re: Any HH&A Members here?...
crakka - Is that the range out 325?
Jason - I took my handgun classes at HHA and really liked the setup they had there. I have my forms signed, I just need to turn it in and pay... :PSimon

Re: Any HH&A Members here?...
I thought that was what you were talking about... I went out that way a few months ago when it was under construction (said it would be open a week later and was closed for another month)...
I was looking for a range that had handgun shooting points as well, unfortunately that one doesn't.Simon

I think the one in Cumberland county has their own range for handguns might want to check into that.

Re: Any HH&A Members here?...
there is a open range thats free near dauphin pa. its out door no buildings or anything though.
i think it may be the clarks creek public range you guys mentioned but i dont remember a sign
from harrisburg you take 322west to dauphin, take the halifax exit route 225. take that to route 325 turn right on 325 you will go back along a creek for 9 or 10 miles to whare the state game lands starts. there is a parking area and a range on the right hand side .
i go there all the time in the summer to shoot pistol,i site my hunting rifles in there as well. its free and close to home. i like outdoor ranges better anyways.Last edited by cory17061; February 4th, 2008 at 09:42 PM.

Re: Any HH&A Members here?...
There is also the Blue Ridge Sportsman Club just north east of Linglestown.
Membership is only $40.00 a year for individual or family.
It is every bit as nice as HHA, but much cheaper.
Here is their web address: http://www.blueridgesportingclays.com
